Brake Fluid Change
Over time, brake fluid can become contaminated as moisture builds up. Most brake components contain copper and when copper is exposed to moisture, it begins to erode. As brake components erode, particles can begin to contaminate the brake fluid - and that means it's time for a brake fluid change. During your free brake check, a Tire and Auto Service Professional will inspect and perform a strip dip brake fluid test to determine if you need a brake fluid change. If the strip dip brake fluid tests reveals that your brake fluid is contaminated then it's time for a brake fluid change.
The need for brake bleeding arises when air gets into your brake fluid line. The introduction of air into the brake fluid can be caused by a leak, overrunning of the master cylinder, or simply from having had recent work done on your brakes. If air has made its way into your brake fluid line, it causes your brake pedal to have a soft, spongy feeling when you press down on it. If you are experiencing this when braking, you may need brake bleeding to correct the problem.BRAKES

Rotating your tires means moving them from one side of the vehicle to the other, moving them from front to back, or a combination of both. This helps avoid uneven tire wear, which can lead to poor performance and decreased gas mileage.
The experts at FRANKLIN AUTOMOTIVE can ensure that your tires are rotated properly. Your tire-rotation services include:
Inspecting the wear patterns
Putting tires back on where they will wear most evenly
Resetting the tire-pressure monitors as needed
Why is it important to rotate my tires?
Tires may wear differently depending on their position on the vehicle, your driving style, and the condition of your suspension
Regularly rotating your tires helps evenly distribute tire wear - helping you get the most miles out of your tires while maximizing traction on all four wheels
On front-wheel-drive vehicles, front tires tend to wear faster than rear tires due to added pressure/resistance from steering
How often should I have my tires rotated?
Regular tire rotations as basic tire maintenance and recommends you get your tires rotated every 3,000-6,000 miles (5,000 km-10,000 km).TIRES & TIRE ROTATION

Most vehicle headlights should last at least 18 to 24 months or longer.

Your car battery is one of the most important components for your vehicle to run. A car battery supplies large amounts of electrical current for the starter, engine and other electronic accessories in the vehicle. The auto battery also recharges and stores energy from the car's alternator. We will make sure you have a healthy car battery.
If the engine is the heart of your vehicle, the car battery is its blood. And just like a heart can't pump without blood, an engine can't run without the juice that a car battery pumps into it. Together with the engine and the alternator, the car battery is one of the vital components of a car's health. Car battery check-ups are a must-do for your vehicle. The car's health depends on them, and our expert technicians are able to perform a thorough evaluation of an automotive battery and electrical system. Regular checkups for your car or truck will ensure it to be around for the long haul. A strong and healthy auto battery is what every car owner wants.BATTERY
